Manga stores in Downtown LA?

I happened to come across a manga store when I was soccer gear shopping (of all places). Since I'm a big fan of manga I would like to share where this store is located.

It's called Casa Manga and its located on 303 E. Boyd st, Los Angeles, CA 90013. Their phone number is (213) 437-0824.

From what I saw they had manga plush, toys, and posters. I didn't get a chance to enter as I was rushing to get my soccer gear. But, when I do get a chance I will update in what they have in stock. This was the only manga store I have come across in this street. There is another store that sells animation items on Wall street passing 4th street and 1 block before 5th street.
I don't have the exact address but I will update soon.

Where to buy cheap Soccer gear and apparel in Los Angeles?

If you just enrolled your little one in soccer, like I did, and you're looking for a money saving opportunity then I've got a couple places for you.

Since I just signed my son up in peewee soccer, I needed to buy gear from head to toe. And if you don't know already, it can get expensive. Very expensive, depending on the place you go to.

Here in Downtown Los Angeles we are fortunate to have vendors both wholesale and retail who offer bargains and steal prices. But, it can be quite chaotic. Since modern times calls for social media and networking, I like to look up business, get the address, go, get what I want, and get out. Let's just say i'm picky. But here you'll be lucky if these small business even create a yelp account. Most dont! Good luck getting help from other business, "i don't know where *so and so* is". Are you kidding me? You've been working here for over *God knows how many years* and you don't know? I call BS! So end you find yourself walking around and hoping you find what you look for. But lucky for you I have a bit of experience which I'm going to share with you ;-)

Let's begin with A-1 International Wholesale located at 340 S. San Pedro st, Los Angeles, CA 90013. This store sells brand Nikey items. Expect retail prices with youth shirt and shorts starting at $60. The people working here won't budge in their prices so it kind of defeats the whole purpose of Downtown LA bargaining. Unless your willing to fork over $100 for a head to toe soccer gear then I would suggest you go somewhere else.

If you go across the street on Boyd street you will find numerous vendors that specialize in soccer attire and gear. The best that I've found, which offered sizing for my 5 year old son, is at ARZA soccer. These people manufacture their own soccer gear. I managed to get a top and bottom set with socks and soccer shoes for under $40. This was my.number one place. The second place I liked was at Aragon Sports Inc, which is right around the corner. (330 Wall st ste#2, Los Angeles, CA 90013). They offer free printing on your soccer top. Personalization costs extra.

If your looking for adult soccer gear you can find them in the same places I mentioned above as well as on Boyd street. Cross sections are San Pedro and in between 4th and 3rd street. Good luck. ;)

Furdiburb: go back to your home planet Furdi :'(

Now that you've completed the whole spaceship. You will need to place furdi in the driver's seat and send him back home. I know :'( the games over. But at least you get to see furdi's parents!

I hope you had as much fun as me playing this game. For the developers thanks for creating a fun and cute game. Please create more challenges on is home planet!

Furdiburb: "mr. Krab's" beach & the sea monster

The beach with craby is where you'll need your final spaceship part. Yeay you're almost finished. :) so what's the objective of the game? Catch the big sea monster a.k.a the kraken. so you'll need to go fishing.

Purchase a hook from the crab's store. It would be best to purchase the better ones as you'll increase your chances of catching the kraken. You'll need to start small by placing a fruit or piece of food to catch the small fish. Once you've got enough fish (take in mind you'll also catch garbage) you can use those fish to catch bigger fish and use those fish to get bigger fish and so on and so forth. You will need to catch the small fish to get to the big fish to get to the kraken. Sometimes you'll catch garbage but you can re-use this to catch the small fish or recycle at the factory ;).

Once you catch the kraken he will appear and swallow you whole. Inside you'll find a tooth (the item) and a recipe on the wall. Use these to create the final piece on furdi's spaceship. That's pretty much it...

You can purchase potions to transform your furdi's antenna or eyes at the shell/crabby store.

Furdiburb: the factory and recipes

So how do you get spaceship parts? Well you have to create them at the factory. Everytime you get a part a recipe will appear in this format _+_+_.

To get started, you will need to power the factory. Grab a cloud and place it on/on top of the globe. You will see the cloud producing electrical current to the machine. Now you have to open your inventory and place the three items on the cylinders. When you do that you will notice three lights to the left of the machine. Press the big red dot. Your items will combine together and create your spaceship part or recipe to the right of your screen. Click on the item and it will automatically go into your inventory.

So what if I make a mistake? No problem. Just go back to where you got your special item and grab it again. It's that simple. ;)

Furdiburb: the skull volcano

If you've entered this scene you'll see a butterfly dancing around asking for light. At this point, I hope, you've figured out that's why you need your antenna lit! (if you have no idea what I'm talking about, you need to go over to the swamp) so in order to enter the cave and solve the mystery of the "blind butterfly" you need to complete the 10 levels at the swamp.

*spoiler alert*

So once you have completed the swamp challenge and have your antenna lit, you will need to enter the cave but not before you get a fire mushroom at owls forest (see below). Once you enter the cave with your lit antenna you will come to realize that what you were actually seeing was a dragon! Not a butterfly. He will tell you his sob story....blah blah blah..."help me restore my breathe of fire and I in return will give you my treasure" (summarization). So that's where your fire mushroom comes in. You will need to feed it to Furdi. Wait for him to burp out a ball of fire then you solved the puzzle. The dragon will then hand you a teddy bear and you should see a recipe somewhere around the cave. Use that recipe to get a spaceship part at the factory.

Furdiburb: the farmer and the gopher

The farmer scene allows you to harvest flowers for money. But, you got to get rid of that pesky gopher who eats every seed you place on the soil. You will need to put him to sleep. By doing this you will have to feed him a purple sleeping turnip/beet. The one you got underground at Robot's place.

Once you have your turnip out (from your inventory), place the turnip on top of the soil. You will see the gopher pop up and eat it then fall asleep. You can now plant! Yeah!

So how do you do that? Simple, just go to the barn store and grab a few seeds. Try the free ones first if you have no money to buy fertilizer. The more expensive the seed, the more it takes for you to feed it fertilizer and harvest your flower.

Place the seed on the soil. Water it by grabbing a cloud. You will see a small plant arise. You will need to buy fertilizer ($150 each) and place it on the soil. You don't need to add water anymore just fertilizer. Keep adding until you see your flower bloom. Once you have three flowers, you can create a recipe at the factory that will produce money. I like to add the same flower three times as I like to compare the value and how much money I get for them. The poppy seed produces about....a little over $1k. The most expensive seed requires about 18 fertilizers (each time you plant one) and produces about over $10k. The rest range from $2k-5k.

So that's pretty much all you can do with the farmer. Have fun making money.
